Lowestoft Air Show

Monday, July 27th, 2009

This was my first Lowestoft Air Show down in Suffolk and it was an eventful day. I was looking forward to seeing the Vulcan fly, but technical difficulties meant it was grounded which was a shame. Any aircraft which sets off car alarms is a good thing to witness!

The display started with the Red Arrows and was ended by a huge storm which rumbled in from the west. Even the ice cream seller had to admit defeat! British summer-time, can’t beat it!

Viva Espana!

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

We’ve just returned from Andalucia where we were training under the guidance of world renowned photographer Martin Grahame-Dunn at his Spanish villa. It’s such a beautiful area of Spain. The villa is surrounded by sunflower fields and an orchard of tasty fig and orange trees. Martin’s mentoring is so beneficial. He took us both well outside of our comfort zones, that put us right back at art school!

During our trip we produced a photo essay in Seville. This included two world heritage sites with only four hours, that was exhausting I can tell you! Here are a few photographs from Seville. You can view and purchase a larger selection at Alamy.
