Jamie and James couldn’t have asked for a more perfect autumnal day to match their autumnal theme. They chose the beautiful Pierce Room at the Assembly House Norwich for their intimate celebrations and you couldn’t have styled a colour palette any better; the burgundy and berry tones looked gorgeous against the golden hues of the venue. James wore a navy three piece from M&S and Jamie a lace tea length Phase Eight dress with burgundy Kurt Geiger heels, brought together with fabulous florals by Libby Ferris.
My day started with a nervous groom and although we tried our best to keep the mood light and him occupied, I think he was relieved and relaxed once the “I dos” were over. Jamie walked the short distance from the room suites to join proceedings upstairs with daughter Alice - who it had to be said stole the show and everyone’s hearts. The ceremony was romantic and meaningful as the sun shone through the large sash windows, giving Alice the perfect view of the buses as they passed. Downstairs the bubbles, canapés and confetti were enjoyed in equal measure.
Jamie and James had requested a few city backdrops to complement the Assembly House locations. I’d recced a few spots a couple of days before (it’s all in the preparation) and planned a walk within the allotted time taking in old walls and the best of the autumnal colour. Plus there were a few Fuller Photography signature images too - I do enjoy stopping traffic. Back at the Assembly House the room had been reset and the one long table looked so pretty. Their cake by Cupcakes from the Hart styled in everything autumn. As their delicious meal was being served by the hardest working events team in the county, I left the celebrations and headed home. It was a wonderful relaxed wedding to be a part of and congratulations again J+J - thank you for having me along.
