October gave me the delights of four very different weddings and - thankfully - pretty good weather on the whole. North Norfolk graced me with another cracker of a day at Cley Windmill with the wonderful Julie and Bob. As I ascending the stairs to the Barley Bin, Julie's sister said "You're in for a treat, I bet you won't have seen a dress like this before". A bold statement indeed, but she was right, Julie looked spectacular. I ADORED the high collar and sharp tailoring. Especially accessorised by the biggest, completely bonkers Autumnal bouquet!
In planning they'd erred on the cautious side and opted for an indoor ceremony. I caught up with Bob making final preparations for a few sneaky portraits before the registrars and guests kept him fully occupied. It's fair to say their wedding was a long time in the making and the ceremony was as meaningful and emotional as expected. Everyone enjoyed the fresh air with bubbles served outside before I whisked them away for a little alone time with me playing gooseberry. I always love creating a gallery with backdrops adding an evocative and memorable story. For Julie and Bob it meant surrounding them with reeds and Norfolk flint, finishing with a short drive to the beach. I think this was one of their highlights of the day as the sun began to set and the sea mist rolled in. Julie also added a much loved denim jacket to her attire completing her rock chick bridal styling. This wedding was awesome, a visual & emotional treat and an absolute honour to be a part of. Congrats guys.
