St Giles House Hotel is one of those wow venues. It's exterior is amazing and interior even more so.
For me it's one of the best Norfolk venues for weddings all year round, rain or shine. When Chantell and Emily contacted me I was so excited at the prospect of two firsts; my first same sex wedding and my first at St Giles. Emily was so in love with the terrace. Painted in a beautiful yellow ochre, set against the blue sky it really did feel like we were in the Mediterranean. Her grey suit not only fitted beautifully but looked great against the bright walls. So this became our go to location throughout the day. Chantell arrived in style in a vintage Mustang muscle car and looked stunning as she stepped out in her elegant gown.
The ceremony was to take place in the upstairs mahogany panelled room with stunning detailing and chandeliers. To add a sense of drama, Emily and her father waited at the top of the stairs and Chantell at the bottom. They didn't see each other until the front of the aisle and made the moment even more special. The ceremony itself was full of emotion. Emily's brother Owen was, I know, sweating about his reading, but did so well and this added such a personal touch. After the ceremony we descended for drinks and a relaxing time of congratulations in the bar and terrace. Such a wonderful day xx
