Jane and Pat kept their summer wedding at Cley Windmill a complete secret.
Only their two children knew about this addition to their holiday in Norfolk. It must have been both exhilarating and excruciating to keep plans secret from family and friends back home in Yorkshire. We were blessed with a classic day under the white sails. Even though this was the most intimate wedding I've ever captured, it was by no means lacking in detail, love and emotion. Pat chose a three piece navy suit with pink accents and their son Logan wore a matching miniature with Converse. Jane looked stunning in her flowing chiffon & lace gown and daughter Mia equally so in pink chiffon. Upon seeing Mia look so pretty and grown up set Jane's tears flowing.
With nerves kicking in, Jane took the short walk from the Dovecote to their ceremony which was warm, loving and a privilege to be a part of. We stayed in the room for a little while to allow everything to sink in, as well as cutting their pretty cake. By now the sky was blue so we took a turn on the balcony and explored the area around the mill. Simon and the team were their usual amazing selves and had prepared a tasty afternoon tea which they were able to enjoy outside taking in the special North Norfolk views. This was a wonderful wedding, thank you for welcoming me into your family's special day.
