I love receiving commissions to photograph for magazines. When WI Life Magazine called and asked if I was available, I jumped at the chance to photograph Cathy and Becky for the cover. After all, photographing couples in love is what I do best. Even though it was a freezing January morning, we found a neutral spot in the sunshine out of the wind and they braved the chill with no jackets to make the photos appear more Spring-like.
The magazine features five couple who met through the Women's Institute. Cathy & Becky retell their wedding story. They DIYed as much as possible, spending three years styling their day including 600 bunting flags crocheted and knitted by their family and WI friends. It sounded a wonderful day full of love and colour. Many thanks to Eleanor at the WI and Mark Hewlett for assisting.
