Frequently Asked Questions
Can I adjust a package?
Yes! All packages are fully customisable in both hours and what's included. No two weddings are ever the same and I would love to build you a bespoke package. For example if you'd like a full day package and a medium sized album included with around 90 images, that would be £2188. If you would like to add an additional photographer alongside me for more coverage of your preparations, guests and candid moments, this would be £1845. These are just a couple of examples, but the question is what would you like me to create for you? Why not get in touch to arrange a non-obligation meeting.
How do we book your services?
For weddings in Norfolk I’ll arrange a convenient time to either visit your home or a cafe in Norwich. This first consultation lasts just over an hour, when samples will be on hand of my style and products. Viewing the portfolios online will give you a flavour of my photographic style, but nothing beats the quality of my images in print. I also travel nationally in the UK for weddings, with travel expenses charged at 50p per mile outside of Norfolk, so please contact me to arrange a Skype call. The consultations are exactly that, there is no obligation to book straight away and you will not be faced with hard sell. I simply want to get to know you. We’ll discuss your ideas and plans so a suitable package can be worked out for you. Choosing a photographer is a very personal decision, so take your time. The more comfortable and relaxed you are with me the better, that’s the secret of great photographs! When you feel ready to book my services a £300 non-refunable deposit is paid to reserve your date. Once payment is received and the form is completed, the date is yours and no other bookings will be taken.
Do you design the albums yourselves?
All albums are bespoke and individually designed by me. With ten years in the graphics industry, my Brandon and Bingley albums showcase design flare and experience. All albums have the wow factor and will become a cherished family heirloom. Both albums are printed and bound in England, reducing shipping time and carbon emissions. A photograph is not a photograph until it's printed.
Do you have back up equipment?
At every wedding I carry a minimum of three cameras and have a spare stashed away in case of any failures. In fact I have a spare for pretty much everything. Images are saved onto two cards at the point they are taken and backed up in multiple places when they're downloaded. My assistant is also an experienced photographer and will also have his equipment and spares.
Why do you cap weddings at 20 per year?
I put alot of time and effort into each wedding I attend. To photograph more than 20 weddings would compromise the level of service you deserve on your special day. My attention to detail is top priority; from the artworking of every image to the design of bespoke wedding albums. All to an exacting creative vision and high quality standard. What more can you expect from Fuller Photography? Just don’t leave it too long before you contact me! I still have a few key weekends available in Spring/Autumn 2019, get in touch to see if I'm available.
Do we sign a contract?
Yes, my terms of business are part of the booking form which is digitally signed online. Written in plain english it forms a contract between Fuller Photography and the couple. This ensures there is no misunderstanding by either party. I recommend couples have wedding insurance, in these financially uncertain times it’s wise to be covered. I am fully insured for both professional indemnity and public liability.
What happens if it rains?
I keep a close eye on weather reports and will have agreed a plan B with you, keeping you informed on the day. The most important decision is a location indoors for your group formals and couple portraits. I’ll provide you both with white and black umbrellas if you decide to go for it in the rain. It’s helpful if ushers are on hand to lend assistance. If the day is a complete wash-out then we might also discuss a Romancing the Dress shoot in the weeks after your wedding to capture your portraits. I won't ever force you into doing anything you're not comfortable with and this will be discussed in the months before your wedding.
Who is your second photographer/assistant?
Mark Hewlett works alongside me at every full day wedding either in an assisting role or as a second photographer. Mark is an amazing image maker, incredibly experienced and I’m very lucky to have him as part of the Fuller Photography team. He adds so much to your wedding experience and specialises in unposed documentary photography, capturing your guests doing what they do best in a discreet calm manner. He also covers groom preparation in the morning and will stay with you during your trip to the pub and guide your groomsmen to where they need to be before the guests arrive. He also wields a mean umbrella.
