Anna and Paul’s was to be my first wedding at Woodhall Manor and I loved every second of it.

I was blessed with another glorious day from start to end. The day began in Woodhall’s secret room with bridal preparations in full swing. Laughter was non-stop all day, I had such immense fun with this fabulous couple. What was also evident was the love and support of every single one of their family and friends.

Anna absolutely fell in love with Woodhall the moment she stepped through the gates. They decided to hire the whole venue to not only allow their guests plenty of room to relax, but also to give us every option of background for photography. I am very blessed to have couples like Anna and Paul who are passionate about photography and excited to share in the process of creation.

The theme of the wedding was greenery; on trend and perfect in this setting. Anna looked stunning in her Sweetheart chiffon layered gown and chose succulents and foliage to add a focal point to her textured hair. Her bridesmaids also wore chiffon in jade. Paul and his groomsmen looked every bit 007 in classic black tie. The florals tied everything together; from succulents and fresh fruit to textured ferns and a hint of colour with subtle florals.

Their ceremony was outside under the pretty dovecote, accompanied by Jack Austin on guitar. Afterwards they enjoyed lemonade, fish and chip cones and ice cream on the lawn before heading into the banqueting suite for a sumptuous meal and speeches.

Where do I start about portraits? It’s fair to say I was spoilt for choice. I had a comprehensive list of places and shots I wanted to capture which reflected their personalities and showcased Anna’s favourite places; their humour through chess, their romance amongst the greenery & trees and their elegance on the staircase. Thank you again for giving me a whopping amount of time to capture these memories for you.

As the sun set, they cut their exquisite cake and headed on to the dancefloor for a wonderful first dance with a few guests surprising them with party cannons. Afterwards Anna grabbed her father for some traditional Romanian dancing. By now the barbeque was in full swing and I left everyone to enjoy a pleasant summer’s night. Anna, Paul, it was an absolute joy to capture and experience your special day, congratulations.
